Scottish Southern Counties Field Shoot

Scottish Southern Counties Field Shoot

Whether or not you have entered the forthcoming Scottish Rifle Meeting at Lauder (from 1st to 7th July), you may be interested in competing in the more relaxed atmosphere of the S.S.C.A. “Borders” Field Shoot on the same range at Thirlestane Castle – to be held on Saturday 8th July.

There are competitions at 50 metres and 100 yards, as well as the aggregate – from which the top shooters will qualify for the Borders Championship Final later in the afternoon. A separate “Disc” shoot is being organised, for teams entered on the day.

If you have entered the Scottish meeting, why not look to extend your stay in the Lauder area to take part in this friendly, local event?

If you are not attending the National meeting, this can be an opportunity to enjoy a day shooting on the range used for those championships!

Entry forms and further information available soon, also at the Scottish meeting, or turn up early on the day (shooting commences 10:00am)
