A first for Scotland and for Scottish Target Shooting. We are delighted to announce the first 10m Air Pistol and Rifle Para Event. This will take place on the 22 and 23 March 2025 at Napier University, Centre for Sport & Recreation in Edinburgh.
The Event is open to all competitors with upper and/or lower limb impairment and those with a vision impairment who use acoustic equipment to shoot. (Please note : vision impaired entrants need to bring their own acoustic equipment. There will be none available for this event at the venue).
The categories and classes that you can shoot are
There are two classes for Vision Impaired entrants who shoot air rifle. These are VI-S for Standing and VI-P for Prone. Both these competitions are mixed gender. There are no competitions for Vision Imapaired Pistol competitiors.
There will be a choice of relays on both Saturday and Sunday with Finals for all classes except Vision Impaired. First competition score will count towards qualification for the Final and for Vision Impaired winners.
For those entering two or more relays your first 2 scores in the same discipline will be added to create an aggregate.
Entry Price is £12 per Relay. Since Scottish Target Shooting has received funding for this event the entry fee is discounted as a result. There are no further member or other discounts..
A national or international disability classification for shooting is not required for this event. We hope to have someone available at the event to answer any questions on applying for a disability classification.
