The 2017 STS Sporting Air Rifle Challenge (SARC) has now finished.
There was a total of 45 shooters giving it a try this year under varied conditions (New Caledonian shoot provided torrential rain, the consequent mudbath and soggy scorecards).
Sadly due to the scheduling of other Air Rifle field events, the number of shoots reduced to 4 from the planned 6 and best 2 scores counted for league positions. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the experience and will come back next year, although it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
I would like to thank all clubs who supported the league and hosted shoots, the shooters who attended and Alan Thomson as ‘other disciplines manager’ for STS liaison.
The final results are shown below and my congratulations to all the winners. Awards will be made at the Air AMG Annual Meeting to be held in December
(Please remember target class shooters are not included in the overall SARC class winners).
