The Air Rifle Grand Prix series moved to Kincardine and the Alloa and District Rifle Club for GP3. There were 18 competitors on Sunday.
There were at least 3 personal bests (PB) in the qualification. These were from Isabel Stark, Rhona Love and Lilly Brechin. Apologies if anyone has been missed and let STS know. The PB for Isabel Stark should be a new Scottish Junior Women qualification record once it is ratified.
The class winners received tins of pellets as prizes care of RWS.
Class A: 1st Isabel Stark, 2nd Rhona Love, 3rd Lesley Stewart
Class B: 1st Richard Townsend, 2nd Maria Maoileoin, 3rd Mark Joyce
Class C: 1st Lilly Brechin
Class D: 1st Ruth Love, 2nd Lucy Richards, Jonathan Laing
Last month, Isabel Stark won the final but missed out on a Junior Women Finals record by 0.1. This Sunday she was back in the final with another win but this time the score was 247.7, which, if ratified, will be a Junior Women Finals record by 0.8. Lesley Stewart was second on 244.5 and Rhona Love was third.
The PDF shows all of the scores and the points table so far. As a number of people, who would have qualified for the Final, had left those that were still present shot in the Final. Only those that shot the Final have been awarded points. I have included the averages with integer scores as additional information.
