On the weekend of 15/16 July, the Scottish 50m Rifle Championship was held at Denwood, Aberdeen. It was a weekend of unpredictable weather with sunshine and heavy rain. This resulted in changeable light conditions.
The Men's prone was shot on Saturday morning.
Men’s Prone Winners
Neil Stirton won the Men's Prone Championship with a score of 619.5, Bobby Spence was second (613.1) and Peter Richard took third place (612.7).
The Women's prone was shot on Sunday morning.
Women’s Prone Winners
Seonaid McIntosh won the Women's Prone Championship with a new Scottish Prone record of 626.5. Jennifer Ross was second with 616.0 and Fiona Crowden was third with 615.1.
The Women's and Men's 3P was shot on Sunday afternoon.
Women’s 3P Winner
Seonaid McIntosh won the Women's Championship with a score of 590.
Men’s 3P Winner
Tom Diggle won the Men's Championship with a score of 570.
