Seonaid McIntosh Crowned World Finals Champion

Seonaid McIntosh won gold at the ISSF World Cup Finals in Putian, China, breaking the Scottish and British Records.

The competition sees the best of the best from 2019 come together to compete in the final competition of the year, and Seonaid performed phenomenally to claim that illustrious top podium spot.

Seonaid went into the final in second spot having scored 1171 in very windy weather conditions.

First up in the final of 3P is kneeling position, and at the end of those shots, Seonaid was in third place with a score of 154.2 – just 0.5 off Nina Christen who secured a score of 154.7.

But you don’t get to become World Number One by settling for third spot and Seonaid kicked on for the prone and standing disciplines to win gold with a final score of 462.1.

China’s Ruijiao Pei claimed silver with a score of 457.4 and Christen eventually settled for bronze with a score of 449.1.
