Sunday 25th August saw us back at the Denwood range in Aberdeen for GP4 of the 2019 Prone series, which is sponsored by RWS. The day was great with the temperature getting up to 27degC and some sitting on the banking to have their lunches. Although the weather was good the wind was tricky. The entry for Sunday was down a bit with more C and D class shooter than A and B.
The Open shoot, which is in classes, was won by the following:
A Class: 1st Jim Godsell, 2nd Ruaraidh Macleod, 3rd Sheena Sharp B Class: 1st Bill Vaughan, 2nd Sarah Henderson, 3rd James Henderson C Class: 1st Sam Coates, 2nd Abby Martin, 3rd Mary Melvin D Class: 1st Steven Robertson, 2nd Gad Habiby, 3rd Lucy Richards
The C and D shoot was won by Sam Coates, second was Rory Donaldson, third was Cyril de Jonckheere.
The A and B shoot was won by Ruaraidh Macleod by 0.1 from Ian Henderson.
David Strachan was third.
In the A and B GP series Ruaraidh Macleod has a 2 point lead over Lennie Thomson. In the C and D series Abby Martin has an unassailable lead and has won the series with 1 GP still to be shot.
