Prone Team League - Round 9
Division 1
The team members of Ellon A have shot consistently throughout the season winning 8 out of 9
matches. Although there is one more match to go Ellon a have won division 1 with 16 points and a
gunscore of 5209. Their closest rival the Clydesiders have only 12 points and a gunscore of 5180.
Division 2
At the moment Alloa B are top of this division with 14 points and a gunscore of 4853. Their closest
rivals Strathearn B have 12 points and a gunscore of 4848. It looks like this division will go to the
last match.
Individual League - Round 9
Division 1
Ian Shanks of Bon accord will be the winner of this division although there is still one round to
shoot. Ian is at the top of this division with a total of 62 points and a gunscore of 1765 and an
average over 9 rounds of 196.11. W.Copland of Ellon Rifle Club is second with a total of 52 points and a gunscore of 1754, but R.Simpson of Greenock has 51 points and a gunscore of 1751 the race for second place will be very close.
Division 2
Peter Richard of Wick Old Stagers has shoot consistently over the season with a total of 61 points
and a gunscore of 1751 will certainly place Peter as the winner of Div 2 T.Kenny of Alloa & District Rifle Club has 54 points and a gunscore of 1743 will place him in second place.
Division 3
Brian Robertson of the Police Rifle Club has kept up a steady shoot over the 9 rounds giving him
61 points and a gunscore of 1697. His closest rival Billy Crawford of Alloa & District Rifle Club
has 54 points and a gunscore of 1688. My thoughts on winner of this division is Brian.
Division 4
A.Angus of Ellon Rifle Club is leader of the pack with 66 points and a gunscore of 1619 closely
followed by T.Whiteley of Strathearn Rifle Club has 49 points and a gunscore of 1573 with his
adversary Eric Wilson having 42 points and a gunscore of 1541.
