STS 50m Team Prone and Individual League Report

Team League

Div 1

Ellon A team members had a very steady shoot winning 8 of their 10 matches giving them 16 points

and a gunscore of 5788 ex 6000, team average 578.80. Larbert were second with 14 points and a gunscore of 5569 ex 6000. team average 556.90

Div 2

Alloa B

Team shot well over the 10 rounds only losing 2 of their matches giving them a total of 16 points and a gunscore of 5389 ex 6000 with a team average of 538.90. Strathearn B were 4 points behind the winner with 12 points and a gunscore of 5199 ex 6000 with a team average of 538.67.

No Card Returns have a serious effect on team scores. If a team requires an extension they only have to contact the League Adjudicator and an extension will be granted

Individual league

Div 1

The winner I.Shanks of Bon Accord won with 70 points and a gunscore of 1961 ex 2000 and an average of 196.1

Richard Simpson of Greenock Rifle Club took second place with 59 points and a gunscore of 1947 and an average of 194.7

Div 2

The winner P.Richard of Wick Old Stagers with a total of 69 points and a gunscore of 1946 ex 2000 and an average of 194.6 T.Kenny of Alloa & District Rifle Club took second place with 60 points and a gunscore of 1937

ex 2000 and his average was 193.7

Div 3

The winner B.Robertson of the Police Rifle Club with Blues and Twos on romped into an early lead and a final effort gave him 69 points and a gunscore of 1892 ex 2000 and an average of 189.2 G.Lewin of Ellon Rifle Club

had a steady all summer placing him in second position with 60 points and a gunscore of 1878 ex 200 and an average of 187.8

Div 4

The winner Sandy Angus of Ellon Rifle Club had a spectacular shoot this year with a total of 73 points out of a maximum of 80 points, along with a gunscore of 1790 ex 2000 and an average of 179 T.Whiteley of Strathearn Rifle Club took second place with 51 points and a gunscore of 1738 ex 2000 giving him an average of 173.8

Medals will be awarded to the winning Teams and to the Individual winners of their respective Divisions
