Scottish Target Shooting is proud to launch its new membership system supported by Azolve and its new website. The membership system will enable people to go through the membership application process online but this is just the start. The system will allow individuals to upload their coaching and officiating qualifications to ensure these can be stored safely online. Not only that but a reminder will automatically be sent 6 months before it is due to expire to ensure members are reminded and have plenty of time to find a course to renew their qualifications.
Over the coming months we will also be working with each discipline to begin integrating events on to the system. This will slowly be introduced throughout the year to allow members to get used to the system and to make sure that it all works smoothly.
Our new website, although basic at present, will also grow as we talk to and work with members to ensure it is a tool that provides the shooting community with the information it needs. As always, websites are only as good as the latest content so we will be working with members to bring you the latest news.
The process of forming Scottish Target Shooting has been a collaborative one, done in consultation with the Scottish Clay Target Association (SCTA), Scottish Pistol Association (SPA), Scottish Rifle Association (SRA) and Scottish Small-bore Rifle Association (SSRA) and more recently with the Scottish Air Rifle and Pistol Association (SARPA).
