Scottish Target Shooting and its Shotgun AMG wish to give its support to its Scottish athletes that have made it to the 2017 Grand Final and to those that are still working on achieving a place.

Thank you to Allan Ritchie for your hard work and achievements below - we at Scottish Target Shooting would like to congratulate you on your success at Lonato at first IPC Olympic Trap Grand Prix for disabled shooters where he scored an amazing 104/125 where he achieved Silver Medal in the Finals, narrowly missing out on Gold to Mathew Goodwin.

This being Allan’s 1st ever international even and time abroad shooting is a monumental achievement considering he only started shooting Olympic Trap in April, Allan did his training at Auchterhouse and the National Shooting Centre Scotland he also did pre- event training at Umbria Verdi Sporting resort Italy.

STS is pleased to announce that Allan has made the qualification score to shoot in the 2017 British Shooting Shotgun Grand Final with the top Olympic Trap shooters in the UK competing in this prestigious event. We wish Allan and all the Scottish competitors at the event all the best and look forward to publishing their results after the weekend.

As Chair of the STS Shotgun AMG, I would like any shotgun shooter to message me with updates, achievements and photos so that I can start raising the profile of all shotgun disciplines. We have some excellent shooters competing in events all over the UK/World so let's promote the sport.
