Congratulations to the Scottish Target Shooting High Performance athletes who achieved great results at the International Grand Prix of Malaga on 22 January 2017.
April Brown shot a new personal best of 66 to qualify for the Trap Women Final in Malaga. With a strong performance in the new final format, she emerged winner of the Bronze medal. Sharon Niven shot a 65 to finish 8th.
On day two there was a separate women’s competition which Sharon Niven went on to shoot a new personal best of 68 to win Gold. April finished in 9th place with a 65.
In the Trap Men competition, Scott Anderson shot a 101 to finish in 98th position, whilst Ewen Ross finished 6th in the Trap Men Junior competition on 103.
