GR&P National Championships 2023 - Match Report
Sponsors of the 2023 Scotland Gallery Rifle Squad
15 members of the Scotland Gallery Rifle & Pistol Team travelled to the NRA Shooting Centre Bisley to compete in the 2023 Gallery Rifle & Pistol National Championships on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd September.
The weather was great and so were the results. I’m proud to be able to announce that Scotland won the Home Countries National Match (HCNM) on the Sunday morning, this is only the 2nd time in 15 years that we’ve managed to win this event, but it won’t be the last!
Not only did we come home with the HCNM trophy, we also now have three National Champions within the team. Well done to Jonny Cormie (GRSB), Chris Douglas (GRCF) and Glenn Gordon (LBR) National Champions.
Along with the team events and individual aggregates there are also several individual events. Members of the Scotland team won 22 Gold medals, 11 Silver medals, 6 Bronze medals.
Thanks, and congratulations also goes to Graeme Dodds (Scotland Captain) for managing a very successful team.
