Scottish Fullbore Open

The 2024 Scottish Open was held at Jubilee Range, Blair Atholl from Friday 14th June to Sunday 16th June. With the entry list filling up far ahead of the deadline, 70 competitors were looking forward to a packed three days of shooting over both short and long ranges.

The weather was mixed but probably best described as wet for much of the competition with winds being light but still deceiving at times.

The dinner was held in Blair Castle this year, a new tradition we hope to continue.

Ron Scaglione came out top in the Grand Aggregate dropping only 2 points all weekend, he also won the Caledonian Sheild (the world's largest sporting trophy - on display in Blair Atholl Museum) and Euan Munro won the Championship final.

Thanks to all who took part, helped with the running of the range and of course, thank you to West Atholl Rifle Club who allow us to use their beautiful range.
