Programme for the Day
STS is pleased to confirm details for its 2018 Annual General Meeting and the programme of sessions planned for its members during the day. The STS AGM will take place at 15.00 on Saturday 28th April at Caledonia House, 1 Redheughs Rigg, Edinburgh, EH12 9DQ. On the day of the AGM, STS has also scheduled a number of sessions that are free for members to attend. The programme for 28th April will be as follows:
09.00 – 12.00: Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop - This workshop, accredited by Children 1st, aims to provide club committees (not just child protection officers) with an overview of child protection requirements, good practice and standards. The workshop is recognised by all Scottish local authorities
12.00 – 13.00: Lunch with Drop In Clinics including:
- Legal Advice – Harper Macleod
- Child Protection support
- How the STS membership system can help you manage your club
13.00 – 14.00: Police Scotland Q&A - question and answer session with Police Scotland. Please note, as with last year, we are asking members to submit questions in advance. We will deal with these questions before proceeding to questions from the floor. Questions can be submitted through the AGM Notification Form below.
14.00 – 15.00: Disability Inclusion Session - introduction to disability inclusion training – delivered with Scottish Disability Sport
15.00 – 16.00: STS Annual General Meeting - including presentation of Bob Aitken Award
